All course syllabuses and course memos are shown on the page Archive.
The information can help prospective, current, and former students with course selection, or to follow up on their own participation. Teachers, course coordinators, examiners, program directors, and others can use the page as a resource for course development.
2026
Spring 2026-60291 ( Start date 13 Jan 2026, English )
Changes planned for the next course offering
- Course plan may be updated to better reflect how the course has developed. We will consider graded assessment of the project in addition to the grades provided on the individual assignments. We can also consider if the name of the course could be revised to better reflect the technological contents.
- New teachers will be introduced with special expertise in the area. Ali Mohamed will leave, Vanessa Case and Zacharoula Zempili will join.
- Use of Canvas will be further developed to ensure correctness and accessibility
- We will continue with the experts (IwD) but we may revise the ways in which this is done to better reflect the power of the inclusion of IwD.
- The mandated use of AI in the course will be revisited given the recent AI development.
For the next course round, the following changes will be implemented or explored:
- Review and simplify the project information in Canvas to improve clarity and accessibility.
- Provide clearer step-by-step guidance for the project process.
- Explore possibilities for additional supervision opportunities and guidance during the project work.
- Revisit the course name to better reflect the course’s emphasis on Human-centered design, Universal design, and Accessibility, where technology is important and present, but not the starting point for the students being introduced to the field.
