Kursens utveckling

The first lecture will be used to communicate clearly the constructive alignment of seminars, laboratories, and the final examination. Lecture learning goals will be aligned with the new grading criteria. The grading criteria will be re-structured to better fit with the course content, seminars, and content of the final examination. Grading criteria will be divided into three parts (1-3) and a passing grade for each part will be required to pass the course. Final examination and seminars will be structured in the same way. The students can achieve a passing grade in part 1 and part 2 via good performance in the seminar presentations. The grading of the laboratories as P/F criteria will be re-structured to limit the correction load on the teachers, increase knowledge sharing between the groups, and improve a fairness. Peer-assessment will be used for formative assessment of 3/4 laboratory reports. One laboratory of choice, the students will need to build the circuit with minimal support from the teaching assistant, the resulting report will be corrected by the teacher.
