On this page, you can track the course's development over time. Once the course analysis is published, data for each course offering is displayed, including the number of registered students, course results, and planned improvements for the next session. All course syllabuses and course memos are shown on the page Archive.

The information can help prospective, current, and former students with course selection, or to follow up on their own participation. Teachers, course coordinators, examiners, program directors, and others can use the page as a resource for course development.

Changes planned for the next course offering

1. Revision of grading criteria in order to implement constructive alignment throughout all course modules (seminars, laboratories, final examination) informed by the KTH course 'Grading criteria'. 2. Good performance in the seminar will affect the possibility to pass the final exam. 3. Implementation of a peer-review component for formative assessment of laboratory reports, with the goal to increase individual and inter-group learning. 4. Increase independent learning of laboratory skills, by requiring independent completion of one of the laboratories with minimal support of the teaching assistant.

Changes introduced for this course offering
The course was taken over by a new coordinator and new teacher. The course is now taught in the second year, instead of the third year of the civilingenörsprogram. Furthermore, the course is now split in between P2 and P4, instead of previously the consecutive terms P3 and P4. For this reason, the examination was split into a home exam after P2 and a written exam after P4. Lectures are taught in English, with Swedish subtitles. All assignments, questions, and exams are available in both languages.
