On this page, you can track the course's development over time. Once the course analysis is published, data for each course offering is displayed, including the number of registered students, course results, and planned improvements for the next session. All course syllabuses and course memos are shown on the page Archive.

The information can help prospective, current, and former students with course selection, or to follow up on their own participation. Teachers, course coordinators, examiners, program directors, and others can use the page as a resource for course development.

The big goal for this course will be to transform it into a ‘flipped classroom’ format more like CH2012 (where I am also examiner). As time allows (it may not all be possible in one year), I plan to add case study sessions for: • Anatomy and physiology (in class first day) • Anthropometry • Biomechanics, • Selecting the right risk assessment method, • Ergo-VSM Developing controls. The lab session will also get some updates to link it better to the biomechanics lecture session and to provide more hands-on time in the computer lab to use the 3DSSPP software. The idea is to incorporate kinesthetic learning with calculation by trying several simple work efforts and then comparing the exposure estimates generated by the software.

This iteration of the course included pre-record lectures, to allow for more discussion and practice during class time. This occurred during hybrid sessions. In addition, the schedule started with anthropometry and Risk assessment methods this year.
