Changes planned for the next course offering
The changes refer to the new course MF2511.
1. Increasing in quantity and impact the industry perspective through guest lectures from industry. A trial-run was performed with a topic delegated to an industry expert (topic of threaded fastener joints will be handed over to an expert from Scania AB)
2. Exam overhauling. The final idea of the exam is that the students can apply the knowledge acquired in the course and not just test them on concepts.
3. the seminar session will be continued with more direct impact on the course grade.
4. Content of the course will be modified to integrate principles of sustainable design.
