Changes introduced for this course offering
The course (lectures, exercises and computer labs, projects) was fully given on Zoom this year. A lecture on atomistic calculation was added compared to the previous year to make the computer labs and also the related project more understandable. The students were also given the opportunity to run their own DFT calculations during the computer labs which was not the case previously. The exam consisted in a home exam with limited time and in an individual oral evaluation of 25 minutes about the materials design concepts.
