Improvements Taken into Consideration for the Next Course Offering: 1. Better structure and alignment of course content: Clarify and sequence the content more effectively to match the project timeline, potentially by introducing a clear project blueprint early in the course. 2. Reduce redundancy with Process I: Overlap with Process I (e.g., thermodynamics) will be eliminated. Students were informed in advance, as some content had been shifted from Process I to Process II and removed from the former. This issue will not persist in the future. 3. Streamline student presentations: Consider merging intermediate presentations or placing greater emphasis on the final presentation to allocate more time for project work. 4. Improve assessment fairness: Assessment can be further improved. While quizzes already used a standardized format—distributing questions evenly by group and difficulty level—alternative formats like smaller, regular exercises are under consideration. 5. Strengthen coordination with industry partners: More industrial partners will be involved to improve feedback quality and reduce the burden on any single partner. This year, the higher-than-expected number of students made coordination with just one partner challenging. 6. Refine group formation and support: While students could indicate preferred projects, not all preferences could be accommodated. The group assignment process will be reviewed to better support balanced contribution and inclusion. 7. Increase transparency of course design and goals: Students should better understand the purpose behind each course component. More emphasis will be placed on communicating the course’s overall intent and structure.
