Applying for a degree

When you have completed your studies at KTH you can apply for a degree certificate. Please note that you personally need to apply for a degree to receive one. It is advisable that you submit the application as soon as your studies are completed.

When you have finished the two years master's programme in architecture (120 credits) and fulfill all the compulsory moments you can apply for the folllwing degree:

• Master of Science with a Major in Architecture, 120 credits

In order to be eligible to apply you need to:

• have passed your degree project and all compulsory courses of the programme.
• archive your degree project according to the instructions below.
• make an application.

The degree certificate will be issued of the KTH Degree office.

Archiving your degree project

The School of Architecture will archive your diploma project.

We will archive a hard copy (A3) and a digital (pdf) copy which you hand in in connection with the final submission of your degree project.

The digital copy will be registered in DiVA, the publication database KTH is using.

By uploading your work in DiVA you have the possibility to make your project publicly available. The term "publicly availabe" means that it is possible for everyone to read the work, including the academic community. The author retains copyright, and the public's usage of the information in DiVA is regulated by copyright law.

You have the possibility to choose whether your project will be publicly available in the online database or not.
