If you believe that you have already acquired skills through your previous studies (at a Swedish higher education institution or a similar institution overseas) that correspond to the content of your current programme, you can apply for a credit transfer.

Students can have a maximum of 30 ECTS credits of entirely elective courses within the 120 ECTS in the master's programme. 

Important: Please make sure that the elective courses do not overlap with any of the courses within your master's programme. If you intend to apply for Degree of Master of Science in Engineering, 300 credits, please also make sure there is no overlap with first cycle courses.
