Content and learning outcomes

Course contents

Students will within the course analyze, reflect on, reevaluate and develop an industry related media project.

This will be examined primarily through:

• oral and written presentations during the course

• a presentation of the project at the end of the course.

Intended learning outcomes

The aim of the course is to get students in media technology to recognize and explore the connections between technology, economy and social factors in the technical innovation and development processes. This is done through cooperation between course participants in a project form.

Students who have followed the course should be able to:

• form a holistic picture of the connections between media techniques, media content, communication, processes, and target groups

• participate in and manage larger media projects

• cooperate and work in a goal-oriented manner in goups where different competences and interests are represented.

The course is only available for students at the Media Management programme and assumes knowledge equivalent to the first three years of a technical university education.
