Kazakh alumnus values project-oriented studies at KTH

Irina Tsoy is working on environmental issues within the oil industry in Kazakhstan.

Irina Tsoy is a KTH alumnus from Kazakhstan. She studied in the Master´s Program Water System Technology from 2011 to 2013. Now she´s back in Kazakhstan working as an environmental specialist at a company called Tengizchevroil.

What Irina Tsoy particularly liked about studying at KTH was that the studies are project oriented rather than laden with a lot of theory.

“I would definitely recommend other international students to apply to KTH. Because this was a great experience,” says Irina Tsoy.

Tomorrow (November 14), Tsoy will meet with master’s students from the governmental programme, Bolashak, at the annual Bolashak Alumni Reunion Conference and Education Fair in Astana, Kazakhstan. She will also deliver a presentation about KTH as a study-abroad destination during the event.
