EIT Digital
To boost the world-leading role of Europe, the Commission has established “EIT – European institute of Innovation & Technology”. This is a new independent body within research, innovation and education, whose aim is to be key driver of sustainable European competitiveness through the stimulation of world-leading innovations in research and education that impact society.
Knowledge and Innovation Community (KIC)
The first step of EIT was to create three KICs within climate change, information and communication technology and sustainable energy.
KTH is a major partner in EIT Digital , EIT InnoEnergy and EIT Urban Mobility .
