History of SEED

The Department of Sustainable Development, Environmental Sciences and Engineering (SEED) was formed in July 2013, by a merger of parts of the previous Divisions of Environmental Strategies Research (FMS), Industrial Ecology (IE) and Land and Water Resources Engineering (MVT/LWR).

In July 2017 the department reorganised with new management of undergraduate studies, master studies and PhD courses, and economy. The research group of Hydraulic Engineering joined the department.

In August 2017 the whole department moved to the newly built house at Teknikringen 10 B.
