Welcome to KTH Innovation

Stockholm is a leading innovation hub, and KTH alumni have founded companies such as Spotify, Lovable, and DataBricks. If you are curious about entrepreneurship, you can start your journey at KTH!

At KTH Innovation, you can get help testing your ideas, launching your startup, or finding other creative people.

KTH Innovation's support is completely free, and we take no ownership. You can start your journey at any time.

Have an idea?

Book a meeting with one of KTH Innovation's coaches! By sending us a short description of your idea, we can connect you with the right person. 

KTH Innovation supports you from the very first steps of your idea's development, so you don't need to have a finished business plan, prototype or pitch. You can contact us at any time!

If you have an idea

KTH Innovation is the first step for you who have an idea you want to develop. You can get started at any time! We're here for you who are ready to launch, and for you who have just started thinking about an idea.

Here, you can:

  • Get a personal business development coach who guides you as you develop your idea

  • Get funding to for example, develop a prototype or conduct a market survey
  • Test your idea in a creative environment with the help of experienced people
  • Get help with contracts and agreements
  • Join our programs . For example, you can come with us to a global innovation hub, or become part of a batch of teams aiming to launch their solutions.
  • Get support in building a strong team
  • Become part of a supportive community of founders at KTH
  • Get access to a global network
  • Connect with investors, mentors, potential customers, and our thousands of alumni

Develop in a supportive community

KTH Innovation Launch is a program for promising startup projects from KTH. In this program, which gives you a year of development in a supportive community, many successful startups have started their journey.

In the Brighter program you get inspiration and learn about the global market from local experts in some of the world's leading innovation ecosystems.

Who can join?

Teams led by KTH students, researchers or employees. Application is also open to students and employees at universities cooperating with KTH within the Innovation Offices structure. Teams currently supported by Sting can also apply.

Form a team and develop an idea

Ideate is a twelve-week program where students from SSE, KTH and GIH get together to form teams and create ideas working to solve global challenges.

Teknikringen 1 is the meeting place for innovation and entrepreneurship at KTH. The building is open for everyone every weekday from 07.30-16.30.
