Summer and short courses abroad
Study abroad without being away for a whole semester. KTH's partner universities can offer courses that you can take outside of your studies at KTH.
This applies to the listed courses
Here we list a selection of summer schools and intensive courses offered by KTH's partner universities. The courses are an option for those who want to try studying abroad for a shorter period. Please note that:
- The courses are not organised by KTH unless otherwise stated. If you have questions about the courses or their content, please contact the university offering the course.
- KTH offers a selection of courses after our partner universities inform us about their offerings. KTH does not know in advance which courses our partners abroad provide, as this varies from year to year.
- Each course has its own application deadlines and eligibility requirements, but a basic rule is that you must be an active programme student at KTH to apply.
- If you want to participate in these courses, you must check what applies, for example, regarding fees, insurance, and other necessary details on the organiser's website.
Nomination for tuition-waved places
Some courses may be free of charge for KTH students via nomination from KTH. If you apply for such a place, the following applies:
- The first-come, first-served principle applies.
- If you have been nominated for a listed course, you cannot be nominated for another listed course during the same summer or academic period.
- In addition, you cannot be nominated for a new listed course by dropping out of another listed course for which you have already been offered a place.
