Course development

Some of the issues highlighted in the course evaluation were already addressed last year, indicating a continued need to further improve the assignment instructions. While the intention is not to provide detailed guidance for every step, the descriptions of both assignments will be clarified and refined for the next course offering. Additional areas that will be addressed include: • adding more lectures related to the core content of the course • providing greater support to student groups in managing their workflow • reviewing the principles of group formation to better balance the benefits of mixing students while introducing mechanisms to prevent potential mismatches or challenges in group dynamics

The scheduling and requirements of the individual assignment will be revised for next year's course. In addition, project management which is an integral component of the project assignment, may have to be articulated in the course description and course memo.
