Course development

The exam will change to pass/fail. At the same time the format might revert back to a traditional points-based format rather than the current format where a certain number of problems in each part must be solved. The material for the lectures in the complexity part of the course will be reorganized and hopefully better streamlined, e.g. Turing machines will have a less prominent role. The AI policy will continue to evolve. One can hope that KTH gets further in its process of procuring access to AI for our students (apart from the at this point rather old and weak version of Copilot that we currently have), but I am not sure how realistic that is. Failing that, perhaps it would be acceptable to allow other freely available models as well as a stopgap. At the same time it needs to be made clear in the instructions that AI is not intended to be required to solve the problems. Try to improve the format of the exercises to make them more engaging.
