Changes planned for the next course offering

Next year, we will hopefully have a fully functional metrology lab. We can then do practical exercises with a coordinate measuring machine, and the students can compare those measurements with what they get with the hand tools. We hope to repeat the study visit, with the same company or another. An alternative could be to do some exercises with some of the new equipment that has been and will be acquired. The project instructions can be handed out earlier, so the students are aware of what needs to be done, even if the lectures at that point have not covered all needed subjects.
