On this page, you can track the course's development over time. Once the course analysis is published, data for each course offering is displayed, including the number of registered students, course results, and planned improvements for the next session. All course syllabuses and course memos are shown on the page Archive.

The information can help prospective, current, and former students with course selection, or to follow up on their own participation. Teachers, course coordinators, examiners, program directors, and others can use the page as a resource for course development.

- Ensure the course will have no clashes with the track courses and minimal clashes (if cannot avoid) with other elective courses, by closely working together with KTH Schema team - provide more details on what each Q&A session contained, along with each session recording - always double check and maintain clarity in the PRO work tasks description - communicate more, that there is always flexibility in many of the tasks suggested in the course, and the students are welcome to communicate with the teaching team for their needs

Changes introduced for this course offering
- Course offering shifted to P3 (2025) from P4 (was in 2023 & 2024) per student requests in 2024 - Extended the time between the final seminar and the final report submission deadline (allowed 7 days versus 2-3 days during last years) - PRO work description was introduced and discussed way earlier in the course, and some parts of it (concerning the same system) was also explained through some of the tutorials of Netsim - More reminders and information were shared in Canvas about the course activities - More reminders were shared during lectures and also via Canvas about the importance of: IRL attendance of the scheduled course activities (lectures, tutorials, PRO work sessions and Q&As), starting the PRO work early, each and every student having contributions in both modelling and report, etc., to complete the course and assessment tasks successfully - Shortened the expected PRO work report length in-terms of word count, yet also communicated through course introduction and also later-on, that this is flexible (especially in the case when students wished to include more details) - Added more details on the expectations on the PROA report and also presentation for SEMA (final seminar)

o Workload: it was re-calculated and verified that the students’ expected workload is safely within the hours for the 3 ECTS. It was decided to explain the expectations more clearly at the introduction lecture, emphasizing the project work is a group work, where each member should contribute sufficiently in both modelling and report writing, to avoid overburdening other members. o PRO (project work) description was further refined for better clarity, and was introduced more already at the course introduction lecture, and also was introduced earlier during the software tutorial sessions o The instructions were modified and refined for the in-class discussions (seminar) sessions. o The Q&A session start was still maintained at the top of the hour, to ensure 1 hour sessions for the students. As the sessions were recorded and the students could still join when they could within the given hour, it was deemed sufficient, while making the best use of the industry teams’ time that was given for free o More freedom was indeed possible even in VT23, where this was explained more clearly at several instances through the course, that they can discuss with the teachers and decide if in doubt, concerning the technical solutions that can be chosen in the project work o The word length required for the project work report was shortened from 8000-10000 words to be 4000-6000 words, and was explained that this is negotiable if needed, especially if some groups want to have more details. o The teachers were available more at the scheduled PRO group work sessions where the students were working on the PRO work in their groups, to help with Q&A on-site o It was communicated that students are welcome to contact the teachers also in-between the Q&A sessions if they have critical problems, while the questions’ submission deadlines were meant to allow sufficient time for the industry team to prepare for the questions better.
