Course development

- Most of the form of the course (lessons, time schedule, adaptive flexibility, home assignments, course literature, extra written assignment, seminar etc) were kept as before. - The students were given even more detailed information about the extra written assignment and seminar. - The extra written assignment helps the students to meet the high level learning objectives. The students were given information that the students taken the course the year before (2021) recommended the future students to do the extra assignment and the seminar - An extra lesson in-between the hand out of the extra assignment and the seminar were given to sort out possible questions

- To the prerequisites it was recommended to add more specific math courses. It was done this year and the students liked it. - The You Tube clips were liked by the students. The content was new for all of them this year (2020). - This year the pace of the course were regular. It was a week or so given between the hand-out of the home assignments and the deadline of the hand-in of the home assignments. The papers were handed out well in advance. That were not the case last year 2019. The students liked it.

- The students would like to see more YouTube clip of non-linear acoustics in the class. This was not done extensively 2018. - The YouTube clip of non-linear waves shown in the class were appreciated from the students. However, the chock wave propagation were known for the majority of the students because there were studying the flow mechanics track.

- The students would like to see more concrete examples non-linear acoustics (2016). - The teacher showed more examples of non-linear acoustics in the beginning of the course (2017). They were taken mainly from his own research and development with industry.
