The course is integrated in three other courses within the master programme in Infrastructure Engineering - Roads/Railway Track/Bridges/Tunnels. These courses are AF2202, AF2904 and AF2608. The content of the course is very much linked to the content of these other courses. The students will work with real projects and use modern IT-tools for applicable parts. Group assignments, individual in-depth studies and oral presentations will form part of the course.

Intended learning outcomes
The basic aim of the course is to give an understanding of principles and methods for management of bridges, roads and tunnels. This includes to understand the practice of site management and the procurement of supplies and contractors.

180 credits academic studies in Engineering, Science, Economics or Planning including documented proficiency in English B or equivalent (TOEFL, IELTS e g).
Accounting for Road and Railway Track Engineering (AF2901), Road Construction and Maintenance (AF2903), Bridge Design (AF2201) or equivalent
