Content and learning outcomes

Course contents

Man as the recipient, the tools of expression of moving images and creative processes, production systems and processes for television production, light and space dimensions. Recording techniques, OB-techniques, distribution techniques, development tendencies.

Intended learning outcomes

The goal of this course is to give you

  • knowledge of recipient wishes, televisions’ range of expression and how these are produced,
  • knowledge of television and video techniques’ technical systems, possibilities and limitations,
  • knowledge of methods for contribution, distribution and storage of TV and video signals,

so that you

  • can understand TV and video techniques production methods and the opportunities and limitations of analogue and digital technical aids,
  • can manage a simple video recording project, including the various aspects of preparatory work, logistics and practical recording work,
  • gain an insight into television and video techniques opportunities for further development of new platforms.
