The course builds further on the Advanced Beginners’ Level II course with continued learning of common and important clause patterns for everyday spoken Mandarin Chinese as well as the building of a core vocabulary and characters. Additionally there will be a larger number of translation exercises with an increased number of elements of written, formal and professional/technical Chinese of different types. The course comprises appr. 360 characters.

- understand short texts of an informal and a professional/technical nature

- give simple presentations in Chinese
- translate short texts of an informal and a professional/technical nature from Chinese to Swedish
