This is an event dedicated to solving real-world security and privacy (S&P) problems. A set of top-notch seminars, delivered in person, cover a gamut of topics on security and privacy
challenges, fundamentals, cutting-edge solutions, and the latest research results. The course is based on the CyberSecurity and Privacy Summer School (CySeP).

Intended learning outcomes
After passing the course, the student should be able to:
- identify vulnerabilities and threats in networks, computers, software and applications
- describe, develop and model defence mechanisms
- carry out safety and integrity analyses
in order to
- understand and explain research results about safety and integrity in a specific research domain/systems.

- Knowledge and skills in basic safety and integrity, 6 higher education credits, equivalent course EP2500/EP2510/EP2520/DD2395/DD2391/DD2520/DD2496.
- Knowledge in English equivalent to English B/English 6.

If the course is discontinued, students may request to be examined during the following two academic years.

- PRO1 - Project assign', 3.5 credits, grading scale: P, F
Based on recommendation from KTH’s coordinator for disabilities, the examiner will decide how to adapt an examination for students with documented disability.
The examiner may apply another examination format when re-examining individual students.

Compulsory attendance during the summer school week.
