Content and learning outcomes

Course contents

  • Quartz crysla microbalance with dissipation monitoring
  • Ellipsometry
  • Optical reflectometry
  • ESCA

Intended learning outcomes

  • Provide understanding for the principles of ellipsometry, reflectometry, QCM and ESCA
  • From primary data obtained from these instruments evaluate properties of adsorbed layers
