The course consists of following topics:

  • Introduction of climate change issues and issues related to greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions;
  • Methodologies for GHG mitigation
  • GHG emission sources;
  • CO2 capture
  • CO2 transport
  • CO2 storage
  • Cost and societal issues of CCS

Intended learning outcomes

The course will provide enhanced cross-disciplinary kmowledge in the area of climate change mitigation technologies, especially on CO2 capture and storage (CCS).
