Intended learning outcomes

This course will train the student to develop large software systems working in engineering projects.

The project will give basic understanding and training in methods and tools used in software development.

After completion of the course the student should:

  • be able to analyze and manage requirements on a software system
  • have knowledge of the development process of a large software system, with regard to reusability, maintenance and extensions
  • be able to analyze and design a large software system
  • be able to implement and test a large software system
  • have knowledge of documentation (implementation as well as user perspective)
  • have deeper knowledge of project methods
