An introductory course in the area of cellular and molecular biology which provides an understanding of cell components, their structure and function, cellular organization, cell signaling, and important techniques in the field. Further included are brief introductions to immunology, microbiology, and molecular medicine, as well as to bioinformatics with sequence analysis and the use of available international cellular and molecular biology data bases.
