Course contents
Real project of a integrated or discrete elektronic design project.Project planning with a real project model.The project is done at our department with available resources.The project group will have contact with the orderer continuosly during the project to discuss and evaluate the project work.A written and oral presentation of the project.
Intended learning outcomes
The aim is to manage to carry out an industrial based project from idea to a final design.
The student should efter the course be able to:
- implement a project management model to a real project
- analyse electronic design problems and suggest ways to solve them
- analyse data communications needed and propose protocols to be used in project
- do an information search and collects relevant facts for the project
- do an electronic design that fulfills a given specification
- build a prototype and evaluate the design
- do a tecnical documentation of the project
- do a written and oral presentation of the project

- PRO1 - Project, 9.0 credits, grading scale: A, B, C, D, E, FX, F
Based on recommendation from KTH’s coordinator for disabilities, the examiner will decide how to adapt an examination for students with documented disability.
The examiner may apply another examination format when re-examining individual students.

Approved project work (PRO1; 9 cr.).

Opportunity to complete the requirements via supplementary examination
