Real project of a electronic and computer based design. Project planning with a real project model. The project is done at our department with available resources. The project group will have contact with the orderer continuosly during the project to discuss and evaluate the project work. A written and oral presentation of the project.

Course contents
Intended learning outcomes
During the course, a design containing the electronics and computer technology is to develop. The student should after the course for a given problem in the field of electronics and computer technology be able to:
- conduct a literature search to locate scientific and other relevant references and evaluate collected information based on applicability to the given problem formulation
- write clear and accurate references to the literature
- construct mathematical models to solve the given problem, and simulate and evaluate the proposed models
- reflect on the technical system's capabilities and limitations, its role in society and the responsibility for its exploitation
- present information and discuss problems and solutions in dialogue with different groups
- analyze problems, evaluate and propose appropriate solution options
- plan and carry out the work using a project management model
- construct parts of a larger technological system and to test and evaluate the completed construction
- write a technical report on the completion of construction.

The course aims to tie together knowledge from several courses within the program and, therefore, the following courses (or equivalent) shall be completed:

Based on recommendation from KTH’s coordinator for disabilities, the examiner will decide how to adapt an examination for students with documented disability.
