The objective of the course IK2216 is to offer students taking the course II2201 "New Business Models" an opportunity to study real life examples of new business models and value chains for products and services based on advanced emerging information and communication technologies, as a complement to the theoretical frameworks provided in II2201.

Learning Objectives
The overall objective of the course is to enable the student to acquire the skills to identify and analyse an innovative business model in the ICT area and to propose a possible business case based on it.
At the end of the course the student is expected to present a realistic, not necessarily original, business idea based on innovative use of ICT, an analysis of an associated business model and a proposal for a possible CSD project developing a business case.

- INL1 - Assignement, 2.5 credits, grading scale: P, F
Based on recommendation from KTH’s coordinator for disabilities, the examiner will decide how to adapt an examination for students with documented disability.
The examiner may apply another examination format when re-examining individual students.
If the course is discontinued, students may request to be examined during the following two academic years.
Assignement: INL1 2.5 hp ; Grading: Pass/Fail
Other requirements for final grade
A team report with a declaration of individual contributions and a team presentation of this report at the a Communication Systems Design workshop.
