Content and learning outcomes

Course contents

Methods for risk analysis, and different systems within quality control, environmental management, the working environment and handling of chemicals, etc.

Directed workplace visits

Insights into and contacts with different operations and their work with risk management and quality

An advanced study project in a relevant field

Intended learning outcomes

After passing the course, the student should:

  • have general knowledge of risk management, quality systems and environmental management systems, etc in relevant sectors and fields of technology connected to Swedish conditions

  • have developed contacts with the labour market and studied relevant risk management, quality management systems, etc. in practice

  • have in-depth knowledge in a subject connected to risk and quality management related to the student's specific profession

  • in the above specialisation, be able to explain risk analysis, describe environmental risk analyses and other processes, and be able to use a method for analysis and assessment according to relevant systems
