Content and learning outcomes

Course contents

The topic on the current Sustainability issue will be changed every year.

Intended learning outcomes

  • To increase the understanding of a SD (Sustainable Development)  in the long term and the role of technology therein embedded in systems
  • To increase the capability to apply foresighting, forecasting and backcasting

Specific prerequisites

At least 30 cr within the Masters programme of Sustainable Technology of 120 cr. Only students registered at this programme can apply for the course

  • PRO1 - Projekt Work, 2.0 credits, grading scale: P, F
  • NÄR1 - Attendance att the UPC seminar, 3.0 credits, grading scale: P, F

Based on recommendation from KTH’s coordinator for disabilities, the examiner will decide how to adapt an examination for students with documented disability.

The examiner may apply another examination format when re-examining individual students.

If the course is discontinued, students may request to be examined during the following two academic years.
