Course contents *

The course contains project work in the form of planning, studying, development work and experimental and analytical tasks. In addition, project meetings are an important part of the course. Guest lectures are provided, focusing on technology or project management.

Intended learning outcomes *

The goal of the project is to develop a new biobased material or product. In the course, the students learn to

  • work in project from
  • communicate orally and in writing
  • analyse materials problems in a systems perspective
  • address complex materials problems
  • develop strategies for using materials engineering methods
  • apply methods from the growing area of ecodesign
