Give KTH your emergency contact information
KTH collects emergency contact information from all newly admitted international students. This is done so that we can contact someone close to you in case of an emergency.
Living and studying in Sweden
Moving to a new country is a big step, and we at KTH are here to make the transition easier. Please read our guide to living and studying in Sweden and learn more about the insurances you need, how to find accommodation and how to apply for our language courses. We also offer webinars and events to guide you through the important steps on your journey to KTH.

Watch out for rental scams
If a deal seems too good to be true, it probably is. Be cautious when communicating with landlords, and never send money before visiting the property or signing a legitimate contract.
Please also note that subletting KTH Housing is strictly prohibited. Any such offers are not legitimate and should be avoided. If you come across listings claiming to sublet KTH housing, we recommend avoiding them and reporting the listing to
housingoffice@kth.se
.
Visit our
"Finding housing on your own"
page to read our tips on legitimate subletting websites and how to avoid fraud.
