Transport related EIT - KICs
To boost the world-leading role of Europe, the Commission has established “EIT – European Institute of Innovation & Technology”. This independent body within research, innovation, and education aims to be a key driver of sustainable European competitiveness by stimulating world-leading innovations in research and education that impact society.
The first step of EIT was to create three KICs (KIC – Knowledge and Innovation Community) within climate change, information and communication technology and sustainable energy. KTH is a major partner in EIT Digital, EIT InnoEnergy and EIT Urban Mobility.
