The form includes application for accommodation and Swedish language courses at KTH.

  2. Complete the web-based application form and submit it online

  3. Print and sign the application form

  4. Collect the required documents

  5. Send the complete application to the international coordinator of your study area at KTH; the contact information is stated on the first page of the printed application form.

Documents to be enclosed with the application are:

  • Attested copy of valid passport/national ID card/identity card with citizenship indicated

Web-based application form

The on line application for studies at KTH for the autumn semester 2012 has now been closed, but it will open again for the deadline of October 15th for the spring of 2013.

Letter of acceptance

If you are accepted as an exchange student to KTH, you will receive a "Letter of acceptance" a few weeks after deadline. This is the formal decision about studies at KTH and is, for non European citizens/students, used for getting a permit for studies in Sweden. It is important that you bring it when arriving in Sweden, and it is also important to apply for the visa/permit for studies as soon as possible, as the process may take up to three months!
