Getting started with IT services

Your KTH account is the personal identity in the KTH central user database. The KTH account is used to access IT-services and systems at KTH.

You get access to your KTH e-mail through KTH Webmail or by connecting it to a e-mail program.

At the start of the semester, the access card is handed out at the Arrival day or when receiving your KTH account.

At KTH, we value the IT security for our students, where you as a user also have a responsibility to ensure that it is maintained.

KTH provides all students who have an KTH account access to free wireless network at the KTH premises, to faciltate study and work.

As a student at KTH you can see an overview of all your schedules under the My Schedule link.

When logged in to KTH.se, the personal menu will appear on the top of all KTH.se pages, enabling you to access your personal pages and features, eg. courses, programmes, schedule etc.

Canvas is the LMS (Learning Management System) used for all courses at KTH. In Canvas you will find course material and assignments and can keep in touch with teachers and fellow students.
