Content and learning outcomes

Course contents

  • The degree project shall be performed within the technical scope of the education.
  • A project shall be implemented independently, normally at an enterprise and in cooperation with another student.
  • A literature study showing current knowledge in the project area shall normally be part of the work.
  • A considerable own contribution of high quality and with a considerable technical depth shall be part of the degree work.
  • The work is documented in a technical report where independent conclusions and analyses are emphasized.

Intended learning outcomes

The degree project shall train the student to apply the knowledge acquired during the education. A scientific and engineering approach to the work is emphasized, particularly concerning work methods and project management.

At least 80 credit points (120 ECTS points) within the program and approved courses within the application area of the degree project.
