Course contents

The course deals with the history of Nordic architecture, with emphasis on 20th century Sweden. The analysis is deepened through connecting architecture and society.

Intended learning outcomes

The objective of the course is to enhance the understanding of Nordic architecture, its ideological roots, theories, local characteristics and main actors.

Based on recommendation from KTH’s coordinator for disabilities, the examiner will decide how to adapt an examination for students with documented disability.
