Course contents
An individual architectural design project is running throughout the course, beeing it's core. Common sessions are held, over the developmant of the individual scetchwork and drawings of every student.
Lectures, seminars and study visits are held within architecture and architectural technology.
Short design exercises shed light upon the design of architecture as applied building technology.
The course litterature is discussed in seminars.
Intended learning outcomes
The over all objective of the course is to give an elementary knowledge of the field of Architecture.
The Course will give the participants:
- A first skill within sketchwork, and simultaneous work with general drawings, tecnical systems and detail design drawings.
- Elementary skills within creation of architectural form by applied building technology, and of building technology under architectonical incentives.

If the course is discontinued, students may request to be examined during the following two academic years.

Examination
- MOM1 - 70% Attendance at all Teaching Sessions, 3.0 credits, grading scale: P, F
- MOM2 - Project Work, 3.5 credits, grading scale: P, F
- MOM3 - Attendance at Specially Indicated Items, 1.0 credits, grading scale: P, F
Based on recommendation from KTH’s coordinator for disabilities, the examiner will decide how to adapt an examination for students with documented disability.
The examiner may apply another examination format when re-examining individual students.
Other requirements for final grade
To obtain the grade passed on the whole course, all parts (MOM1–MOM3) have to be passed.
Opportunity to complete the requirements via supplementary examination
