The students after the course will be able to:
- Explain what is special with real estate.
- Explain how the different real estate markets are related.
- Describe various ways that the government affect the real estate market.
- Understand the relation between the macroeconomic development and the real estate market.
- Describe competing theories about the nature of real estate cycles.
- Analyse different real estate contracts from the perspective of risk allocation and incentives.
- Understand basic quantitative studies of price determinants.
