Elements: Project work in groups including studies of reference projects and practices. Study visits, lectures, individual in-depth report.
After finished course the participants should understand the importance of concepts and design as a value adding acitivity in project work within architecture and the building. The participants should have an overall understanding of a wide range of architectural concepts, and demonstrate in depth familiarity with selected approaches. The participants should understand how concepts support the formation of a building program in relation to client needs and the subsequent development into propositions for built projects. They should also be able to describe and evaluate the communication tools used in conceptual development.
