Course contents
Two parallell processes are studied in the course. The first process is the project development process: how to analyse needs and market, find och develop the building site, manage legal conditions and financing, define and design the actual building, purchase the production, marketing, find customers/investors. The second process is the production process: planning, preparation, manufacturing, purchasing, delivery and assembly. The intricate and strategic relationship between those two processes are studied with focus on the project management mission.
Intended learning outcomes
The course aims to provide the students with insights in the value adding activitites in all phases of a building project and especially how those can be realized in the construction phase.
