Intended learning outcomes
The course aims to give some practical experience of performing one or several typical tasks in the field of space technology, including data analysis and development or evaluation of measurement techniques and instrumentation, designing part of a space vehicle or investigating the effects of space environment on various systems in space. It further aims at giving experience of describing the performed work in a formal report.

There are no formal pre-requisites for the course, since the nature of the projects may vary widely. The tutor will determine if the student has the required background for the project in question.

There is no set litterature list for this course. The tutor will decide what is required reading. This will usually be complemented by a alitterature study performed by the student.

Examination and completion
If the course is discontinued, students may request to be examined during the following two academic years.
Grading scale
Examination
- PRO1 - Written report, 7.5 credits, grading scale: P, F
Based on recommendation from KTH’s coordinator for disabilities, the examiner will decide how to adapt an examination for students with documented disability.
The examiner may apply another examination format when re-examining individual students.
Other requirements for final grade
The examination takes form via a written report.
The report should contain the following elements:
1. Introduction
2. Methodology
3. Results
4. Discussion and conclusions.
If the report deviates clearly from this format a short written motivation should be submitted to the examiner.
