This is a course for students who are interested in pursuing an academic career. Participants will be given the possibility to work closely with a supervisor to specialise in a topic of interest for on-going research in electric power systems. The main tasks in this course will be to do a literature review of the topic and to learn relevant models and computation techniques used for that topic.
The number of students per course round will be limited.
Course offering missing

Course contents
In each course round, a limited number of topics will be available for the students. Each student will work individually with his or her topic under guidance of an experienced researcher.
Intended learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to develop the students ability to carry out research within a specific topic from electric power systems research.
To pass the course, the students should show that they are able to
• carry out a literature review of a specific topic, i.e., to summarise the state-of-the-art and identify possibilities for further research,
• develop and apply relevant models and computation methods on basic problems within a given field.
