The course gives a deeper understanding about the energy use in the built environment.

Intended learning outcomes

After the course, the student shall

  • obtain an overview with deep insights in the energy use within the built environment;
  • have good understanding of the aspects of production, transport and use of energy;
  • have good insights in where the biggest possibilities in energy saving are to be found;
  • be able to show how this can be applied making buildings developing in a sustainable way.
