Course contents

The course gives a deeper understanding about the methods applied for quality assurance of the service life of buildings.

Intended learning outcomes

After the course, the student shall

  • have obtained a practical understanding about what is meant by service life;
  • have a good insight in the standards that are produced for determination and description of this;
  • be able to show how this can be applied making buildings develop in a sustainable way.
