Course contents

The course gives a deep understanding regarding building mycological issues.

Intended learning outcomes

After the course, the student shall

  • have knowledge of microbial attacks on buildings with respect to material combinations and micro environments in the building that may result in microbial attacks;
  • have knowledge of suitable countermeasures against such attacks;
  • have knowledge of how buildings can cause ill health because of microbial attacks;
  • be able to show how this can be applied making buildings developing in a sustainable way.
