This graduate course is based on seminars given mainly by the participating students with at least one senior scientist present as a moderator. All students will give two seminars based on their own research or a literature study they have performed. The subjects can be any research issue related to analytical chemistry; methods, techniques, instrumentation or applications.

Course contents
Intended learning outcomes
The students will present analytical chemistry associated research before an audience of other PhD students. In this way the students will get acquainted with each others work, be able to discuss current analytical problems and get a broader understanding of obstacles and pit falls, and possibilities to get past these.

Examination
Based on recommendation from KTH’s coordinator for disabilities, the examiner will decide how to adapt an examination for students with documented disability.
The examiner may apply another examination format when re-examining individual students.
To pass the course the student must give two seminars and be present at more than 75% of the given seminars. Before the seminars the presenting students should send a short summary of the seminar to the rest of the group.
